Job roles

We all had roles within our groups and we had all agreed with eachother with the job roles that were set. In our first shoot james was our actor, but when we filmed in our re-shoot Aaron had to be our actor as james was not able to make it. So aaron was originally our director but he had to also take on the role of acting. We had to film our title sequence three times because the first time it was too dark. The second shoot was okay but we needed more shots so in the third shoot we made sure we had enough shots to cover all areas. So Aaron was the actor and the director. James did help me with about two camera shots and he also helped with abit of the editing. My role was to be the camera man and edit the video. I did take on most of the editing but people within my group did also contribute. James had made the song but it did not go well with our title sequence so me and Aaron had created one. I had put the beats in and we both made the decision if it worked well enough.

The voice over Script

This is going to be the voice over script for our title sequence. We have included tense and dark words and the reason for this is because our film is horror. We have included the word fire because our film is normally based around fire.
Fire is destructive… Fire destroys… Fire burns the flesh… and the soul… it takes away everything you hold dear… it can’t be controlled… it can never be stopped…  A monster born from the flames… The flames around may long have perished… but the fire still burns deep within… And it can’t be stopped… until it has consumed everything in its path.

titles

Above is the titles that we are going to use in our title sequence. This typeography is good because our main theme in the film is set to be on fire and the writing of the typeography looks like fire. We have not changed the colour of the text because it will look good coming out of the fire in this colour. The titles will be show in chronilogical order in the actual film sequence but they are not in order right now.

poster

This is the poster that we have created. It will be a great way to promote our title sequence. The reason for this is because we have got some themes of the film with fire, and the child killer, also the child is mysterious as you do not actually see his face, only his shadow. The fire can create atmosphere and set the type of genre because of the colour and how horific it looks.

Logo

This is our logo for our film production company. We thought of the name HARJ as it is an acronym of the people in our group. We had put the film reel because this film company will represent any type of genre. We had come up with the company name of "HARJ" because it represents everyones name in my group. There is H- harj, A- aaron. R- Ryan and J- James.

Plot to our film

The people in my group are Aaron Vander, James Mills, Ryan Emin and me.

Our genre of our film is based on horror and the name of the film is Damien. The film is about a boy called Damien. He was caught up in a fire and he had suffered severe burns that had have scared him for life. From his face and the upper part of his body. When he returns to school, he is immediately bullied for by students in his school because of the way he looks. Damien then runs away becasue he can't cope with it. As the years went by Damien built a lot of anger inside him, to a point where he can't resist. He goes on a rampage and hunts the people that had bullied him to get his own back. He burns them and makes them look like him, then he kills them and keeps their head a shrine.

The title sequnece will be focused around fire, fire wikll be in every shot of the sequnce and the main characters face will be hidden under a hood right up until the end of the title sequence. the typography that i would like to use is that of a smoky type of writing so as the fire burns in the title sequnce the names of actors,directors etc. appears written out of smoke again adding tho the thme of fire.

Over the top of this we are not sure whether to have a voiceover of the main charcter speaking about his expieriences and 'the fire inside him'. or whether to have music that fits in with the film genre, the music would have rock music or a similar genre to that as that is normally the tye of music assciated with thsi film genre.

Typeography

We would like to use this type of typeography in our title sequence. We would like to use this type of font because it is associated with fire and our title sequence it is mainly about fire and dangerous things. It will be the colour of grey as it comes out of the fire and the reason for that is because we would like it to look like it is smoke coming out of the fire. This is the only font that we are going to be using, it will be throughout our title sequence mainly when theres fire. The name of the film is not royal inferno the name of the film is Damien. The style of the font looks like wavey smoke and we thought that, that would fit in really well with our title sequence.

Halloween

Halloween is another american film that was created in the year of 1978 it was directed by a man called John Carpenter. it was written by a woman called Debra Hill. On halloween in the year of 1963 a six year old Michael Myers murder his sister by stabbing her with a kitchen knife. He then was sent to prison and fifteen years later he had run away. He had turned mentally ill and had returned home. 

This film is similar to our film because a boy gets bullied and does bad things. Although in halloween the boy does not get bullied but he does do crazy things. You could say that this film is similar because the character in our film does crazy things, in halloween he kills somebody then goes mental. In both films both characters do go crazy and do many things you will never imagine.

This is the work that we have changed on our presentation. We have added more information and changes what goes before what. We had put the information in what we think should come first and that consist of:

The plot of our film
The cast and crew that will be in our film
The title sequence which we think it should be like

The omen is a horror film that has been created in the year of 1976 and it was directed by a man called Richard Donner. The film is about a man finding out that his son becomes an devil. 

This film is similar to our film because it is about a child that is getting bullied. In the omen the boy is a devil. In our film the boy turns evil and also sort of becomes an devil. Mainly in horror films the older adults are normally acting in it but in this film and our film the kid is the one who turns evil. It also is similar to our film because the name Damien represents the meaning of a devil and in both films there is a devil.
